What is Onyx?

Onyx is a wearable "smart walkie-talkie" that helps you and your team be more productive; it gives you the ability to reach one or a group of people with the push of a button, no matter how far away you are from each other, all while leaving your phone tucked away.

Onyx is a new take on traditional walkie-talkies. Unlike traditional walkie-talkies, it pairs with your iPhone or Android smartphone to send your voice messages, in real-time, to other Onyx users, anywhere in the world your phone has cellular data or WiFi connection. It's much more lightweight than traditional walkie-talkies, with a battery that lasts all day, and has a standard 3.5mm headphone jack when you want to plug in an earpiece for discreet conversations.

Unlike carrier PTT options, with Onyx you can talk to other Onyx users on any carrier or WiFi network. Onyx works with the Orion mobile app, which is where you create groups and invite people to them. You can even see where your group members are in real time on the in-app map.
